← We Do TURNS!

THE VENDOR CONVERSATION

Start with a clear scope.

Give the business enough information to assess your job, and confirm the details before work begins.

← All resources

Have these details ready.

  • Property address, unit number and property type.
  • A room-by-room description of the work, with photos where useful.
  • Your target start date, completion date and access window.
  • Who provides materials and who approves changes.
  • Your on-site contact and how vendors should send updates.

Questions to ask the vendor.

  • Do you serve this location and handle this kind of property?
  • What dates are available, and what could affect completion?
  • What is included in the estimate, and what is excluded?
  • How will you handle additional work or changes to the scope?
  • What access, preparation or materials do you need from us?
  • Who is the point of contact, and how will completion be documented?
  • Can you provide the business credentials and insurance documentation our property requires?

Confirm the agreement in writing.

Record the scope, price, schedule, payment arrangements, change process and handoff requirements. Share the agreed plan with everyone coordinating the turn.

A directory listing is a starting point for a conversation. Confirm the business’s fit for your job directly.
